About Indispensable U.S.A.
Introduction
Founded in Rochester, NY in February 2017, Indispensable U.S.A. is a non-partisan organization dedicated to preserving and strengthening America's essential leadership of the global political, economic, and security order. Unitied States citizens of any political party, or no party at all, are welcome. As a grass roots organization, Indispensable U.S.A. celebrates the power of regular citizens to change the direction of national politics.
Our Mission
The mission of Indispensable U.S.A. is to demonstrate that we Americans strongly support United States leadership of the global political, economic, and security order, without which liberal democracy, the rule of law, human rights, free enterprise, and free and fair trade may weaken and eventually perish around the world.
Our mission includes strengthening America's resolve to stand against authoritarian states that seek to subvert democracy and dissolve the alliances and multilateral institutions that keep them in check. We oppose the Trump Administration's program to retreat from global leadership and to reorder foreign policy around nationalistic populism, economic protectionism, and geopolitical isolationism.
The Activities of Indispensable U.S.A.
Indispensable U.S.A. will campaign to advance our mission by taking the following kinds of actions:
- Regular communication with elected representatives through mail and phone campaigns, personal visits, petitions, and attendance at public meetings.
- Publication of our opinions in editorial pages in local, regional, and national newspapers, magazines, and online media.
- Campaign support for politicians who stand in support of our principles and objectives.
- Participate in public demonstrations locally and nationally
- Alliance and joint action with like-minded organizations
- Regular meetings to plan and review our actions and hear guest speakers for the purpose of self-education

What unites us is our desire to preserve America's leadership of the global political, economic, and security order though alignment with these principles:
- America's leadership is indispensable to the advancement of liberal democracy and protection of human rights at home and abroad
- A superior military fortified by multilateral alliances and institutions, supported by foreign aid and other elements of America's soft power, form the essential foundation of national security
- Free enterprise at home and free and fair trade abroad, supported by multilateral insitutions to manage international trade, currency, and banking problems are the keys to prosperity for America and our trading partners
- Opposition to authoritarian and nationalistic states such as Russia, that seek to undermine democracy and subvert other nations
- Stopping terrorism through military and non-military means in collaboration with America's allies, but not through exclusionist immigration and refugee policies based on religions, racial, or ethnic discrimination
There is no cost to become a member of Indispensable U.S.A. It is expected that members will demonstrate support for Indispensable U.S.A.'s mission by energetically participating in the group's activities. We recognize that some of us have limited time to devote. Please don't let that stop you from joining. All support -- big or small -- will help build our organization and drive our mission forward.
